The test below is using the VII version of the Nikon 70 - 200 and VIII
version of the Nikon 2x convertor plus the 1.7x.
As I understand it (according to Thom Hogan) the only difference
is that this lens (VII) is better in the corners with a full
frame camera - The V1 version is still excellent with the DX
camera.
